Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival: Michael Schilf's short film "The Fixer" and series pilot "LIGHT" receive four nominations

Writer, director Michael Schilf’s crime thriller The Fixer is nominated for Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Thriller at the 2022 Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival. Online viewing and voting of the nominated films ends Friday, May 27. To watch the nominated films, spectators may go to BHIFF and click on “Festival Voting” to create a login and purchase a festival pass for $10. After logging in, viewers will have access to watch and vote on all nominated films in 18 categories.

Michael Schilf’s sci-fi series pilot LIGHT is also one of 10 nominees for Best Unproduced Script, with a Grand Prize of $10,000. BHIFF’s jury of certified judges select the Grand Prize winner.
LIGHT is a sci-fi, action, crime series. Set in a post apocalyptic dystopian world, where society is subjugated under corporate tyranny, a mole in a criminal syndicate struggles with his allegiance to the fascist regime, kinship in his crime family, and resolve to fight for freedom.
