LA Under the Stars Film Festival: The Fixer is a 2021 Official Selection

2021 FILM SELECTIONS

Writer/Director Michael Schilf’s award-winning short The Fixer earns an Official Selection and Nomination for Best Narrative Short Film at the 2021 LA Under the Stars Film Festival.

54 films in nine categories will compete in this year’s festival, which will screen the films as a virtual event, February 26 through March 7.

The nine short film categories include: Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Horror, Music Video, Narrative, Sci-fi/Experimental, Smartphone, and Student.

ABOUT THE FEST

LA Under the Stars is an international film festival held at the historic El Cid Theater on West Sunset Boulevard in the heart of the Silver Lake neighborhood. Unpretentious and atmospheric, the iconic theater, restaurant, and bar offers guests a new experience while retaining its original passion and soul. ​

This is the best showcase for indie films! Network with the top filmmakers, take pictures at the red carpet, discuss projects during the Filmmaker Q&A, & close the evening with an Award Ceremony.
