And the winner is… The Fixer. Writer/Director Michael Schilf’s crime, drama wins the Grand Jury Prize for Best U.S. Short Film at the 2020 Santa Monica International Film Festival.

The Fixer is follows the story of Jack Cross, an extorted Mafia enforcer who must partner with the femme fatale hired gun who murdered his wife in order to save his daughter and liberate himself from a sadistic L.A. crime boss.

Starring Jesse C. Boyd, Veronica Diaz Carranza, Vincent van Hinte, and the iconic Danny Trejo.
