Lunar Door and Chromosomes: A Mutual Partnership

Partners Ryan D. Wood (producer/composer), Michael Schilf (writer/director/producer(, and Chase Kuker (composer/producer) are the creatives behind Lunar Door and Chromosomes.

Both based in Los Angeles and Austin, Lunar Door (an independent production company that produces original branded content, feature films, TV series, and graphic novels) has partnered with Chromosomes, a music company, specializing in original scores and sound design for film, TV, trailers, and commercials.

“Without music, life would be a mistake,” co-founder Michael Schilf quotes Friedrich Nietzsche. “The same is true for visual narratives,” Schilf continues. “I know storytelling, and the boys at Chromosomes know music. It’s a perfect marriage. Music and sound design is half the film.”
