Independent Shorts Awards: The Fixer earns a festival high 10 awards

Writer/director Michael Schilf’s award-winning short The Fixer was an Official Selection in competition with hundreds of films from 33 countries at the Independent Shorts Awards.

The Fixer was one of twelve Nominees for Best Film of the Month, winning Runner-up and earning a festival high 10 wins, including five Platinum Awards, three Gold Awards, and two Silver Awards.

IMDb qualifier’s Independent Shorts Awards is an international film festival, with monthly live screenings and an annual live screening and awards event at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA.

Each season, the submitted projects are judged by a team of experts from academia and the film industry, against a high standard of merit. Monthly winners qualify to compete and screen at ISA annual event. Some films are invited to be screened at monthly events.

Award-winning films are also invited to join ISA TV channel.
