According to inc.com (and NPR), “the average attention span of a human plummeted to eight seconds,” which means goldfish, at nine seconds, now have us humans beat. Makes you wonder, “Who really is the lowest animal?”

But now I’ve reached your 8 second threshold, so there really is no point in further introspection on the demise of the human race, unless of course, you’re a goldfish.
